Suspect Supernovae.



Alessandro Dimai , Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy reports that in NGC 4303 (M 61) is present a suspect object shown in the image below


He took only this image with a CCD camera coupled to a Mt.0.50 telescope on Dec 17 at 5:15 U.T.
No other images he took because of sunrise

This is the result of minor planet checker

The following minor planets, brighter than V = 18.0, were found in the 30-arcminute region around NGC 4303 (R.A. = 12 21.9, Decl. = +04 28, J2000.0) on 1999 12 17.25 UT:
